Contributions from private companies and individuals will be solicited to supplement operational costs and to avoid accessing student participation fees. A nominal enrollment fee will be required for students that are accepted into the program.
The Program
Eligible candidates will be granted scholarship to cover program costs, fees, and participation. Most training programs of this magnitude encourage students to take out loans and charge high fees. Our intent to is to provide the same opportunity to potential students without hardship and unnecessary costs. Each training session will be approximately 12 to 13 weeks, on Saturdays, from 9a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Classes will consist of lectures, in class assignments, and hands on training.
Opportunities and Expectations
ICE will offer an opportunity to prospective candidates by placing them in a program that will offer expert training by professionals in the industry, at no cost to the student. Our plan is to motivate students that seek to find professions in media and entertainment and to open doors for new opportunities that have previously been untapped by a large segment of the population.
The entertainment service industry offers potential candidates profitable jobs in some of the following areas: Motion Picture production; T.V. programming production; Broadcast T.V.; Cable T.V.; Advertising (Commerical trailers); and Post production.
Upon the completion of our training program, successful candidates maybe eligible to participate in internship programs and mentoring programs that may lead to employment with well known studios such as Walt Disney Company, 20th Century Fox, MGM Studios, Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures/Dreamworks, Universal Pictures, and Warner Bros, to name a few.
